Accessibility Statement

Prepared 17 September 2026

This statement covers the Sound Wave Studios website, including the enquiry form and the customer, staff and admin dashboards.

You should be able to move through most of the website with a keyboard alone.

Conformance status

This website partially conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA. Some parts don't fully meet the standard yet. They're listed below.

Known issues

  1. Some text doesn't contrast enough with its background, including the blue status labels in the dashboard.
  2. Public pages don't have a "skip to main content" link so keyboard users tab through the menu on every page.
  3. Labels on the registration form aren't linked to their fields so screen readers may not announce what each field is for. If this stops you registering, email us and we'll set up your account with you.
  4. Messages that confirm an action or report an error aren't announced by screen readers and can only be closed with a mouse.
  5. On mobile, the menu doesn't close with the Escape key.
  6. Some wide tables in the dashboards, including the invoices table on the customer overview, scroll sideways on a phone.
  7. Portfolio audio samples have no transcripts. Email us and we'll send a written description of any sample.
  8. Stripe runs the payment page and Cloudflare runs the spam check on the enquiry form. We can't change how they work. If either one blocks you, email us.

How we tested

We tested the website on 14 September 2026. Automated axe-core checks against WCAG 2.1 level AA ran on every public page and every dashboard page, at screen widths from 375 to 1440 pixels. We also tabbed through each page with a keyboard.

We haven't had an independent audit or tested with a screen reader.
